citace:
Simple facts are thus:
Daimler Benz says...
DB601E Engine with Kraftsoff B4 (Fuel B4)
Leistungsstufe (Performance Level):
Start und Notleistung (Start and Emergency): 1350 HP @ 1.42 IMAP & 2700 RPM
Steig und kampfleistung (Rise and Combat): 1200 HP @ 1.3 IMAP & 2500 RPM
Since we are only talking about a full manifold pressure and RPM limitation to 1.3 and 2500, there is no need to post anything under those two...
Bottom line is that no-one, has been able to show a valid flight test allowing 1.42 IMAP and 2700 RPM. before June 1, 1942.
This info shows the very first "undated" climb and speed chart he posts on page 2 of his docu-drama, "Vergleich (Comparison) Me 109 - Fw 190"...
But anyone with a lick of sense can clearly see that that chart clearly belongs to the "OKL" chart of which that web page is only showing a piece of, on page 9 that is clearly dated at the top 1/6/42. Look at the planes and engines listed on the two documents please... Another perfect example of data manipulation to meet "ones" own argument.
We also have numourous tests by both the Allies AND Rechlin that, share approximate results at 1.3 IMAP and 24-2500 RPM, that simply do not mention 1.42 IMAP and 2700 RPM through at least 4 September, 41. Even though it appears in the flight manual in Feb 42, it could mean nothing as the Daimler Benz Engine spec sheet is older than that, yet still shows the 1.42/2700 take-off power. That will not override a operational plaqe inside the cockpit with restrictions for that airframe.
As far as WWIIOL is concerned, the 109F currently in the game is a tier 1 1941 era F4 model. Therefore, it is plainly the model with the derated engine. One of these days, when I get some time to fix it, the gauges on the instrument panel will reflect it as such.
Ten motor to prostě nedal.
